Buddha day – a world wide celebration
Under the full moon in May, a long long time ago, Sidhartha Gautama awoke from the last traces of greed, ill will and delusions and became a fully enlightened Buddha, free to live sponteneously, wisely and compassionately.
Since then innumerable people have been inspired to follow his example and wake up to how reality is.
That’s what we want to celebrat today.
On Saturday we will celebrate this around the world, starting at 8am Saturday morning with a full online-program. There will be recitations, videos, a free e-book, meditations, talks and pujas. You will find a full program here: https://thebuddhistcentre.com/stories/toolkit/buddha-day/
